Many of you have been praying for our country,
the Ukraine, during the last few months when we had
political conflicts in Kiev. God reached His hand and helped
our nation. Now we have
a new (interim) President who is Christian (!), new Prime Minister who is on
the side of ordinary people and the Parliament with changed mentality willing
to work hard to bring reforms Ukraine needs so badly!
At the same time our choice of freedom and
democracy has not been accepted by our neighbor, Russia, which lead to not just political
but a military conflict. For the last week Russia has been showing military and
political aggression towards peaceful Ukrainian population trying to nip off
part of Ukraine, Crimea. We are stunned by Pootin and other
Russia high officials’ actions towards Ukraine. They seem to be creasy to want our
land so badly. Yes, it is good Ukrainian land, and it is all ours! No part of Ukraine wants to become Russian, except few
hundred of people sent in by Russia as provocateurs.
Even though it is quite safe in Zaporozhye and
most parts of Ukraine (no bullets, or missiles
flying…yet) everybody is worried. The situation can get worse any moment. We DO
NOT WANT TO FIGHT Russia. It is nonsense! At the same time
we can not let Russian military forces to set up Pootin’s government in
Ukrainian land! We want peace and we will make everything possible to be in
peace … possible from our side. God is in charge and we trust Him with
everything including the current situation. PLEASE, JOIN UKRAINIAN CHRISTIANS IN PRAYER FOR:
- Changed mind for Russian government, from war to peace
- Protection for everybody who lives in Ukraine, especially in Crimea
- Wisdom for new Ukrainian government
- Unity among all people who live in Ukraine, that all can see the truth
- Spiritual revival, that many people in Ukraine come to God and be saved!
Any war leads to deaths, any adult death leaves
orphaned children behind. At New Hope Center – a ministry to orphans in Ukraine – we are praying that God protects children of Ukraine and none of them would loose their parents or
go to orphanage. May God keep Ukrainian families safe to give us new Hope and
new Future in Him who loves us!
